JOE D. DICKERSON - President
Mr. Dickerson is a registered Professional Electrical Engineer. He received his education at Wright College and the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Mr. Dickerson founded Dickerson Engineering Inc., a consulting electrical engineering firm, in 1969. His experience in the practice of electrical engineering extends over a wide range of building projects and reaches back to 1954 where his earlier affiliations were with the Chicago architectural-engineering firms of Skidmore Owings & Merrill; William Goodman, Consulting Engineer and Guy Pellegrinetti Consulting Engineers Inc.
As a principal he supervises all projects of DEI, handles contract negotiations and is available for client consultation.
ROGER S. ALLEN - Executive Vice President
Mr. Allen is a registered Professional Electrical Engineer. He received his education at the University of Illinois and Chicago Technical College. His background includes a wide range of building projects with particular expertise in healthcare, municipal and educational facilities.
Mr. Allen has been associated with DEI since 1971. He was appointed Director of Engineering in 1975, named to the Board of Directors in 1976, appointed Vice President in 1982 and Executive Vice President in 1992.
As a principal of DEI Mr. Allen shares in the supervision of all projects and is in responsible charge of DEI's quality assurance procedures.
MELINDA D. SABATELLO - Vice President of Administration
Ms. Sabatello is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she received her B.S. degree in Public Administration and Business Administration. In addition she attended the University of Illinois where she received a Certificate in Business Administration.
Ms. Sabatello joined DEI as the Office Manager in 1980. She was elected Corporate Secretary/Treasurer in 1981, appointed Administrative Vice President in 1989 and named to the Board of Directors in 1992.
As a principal of DEI, Ms. Sabatello is responsible for all financial/administration matters, human resource management and marketing.
DAVIS L. DICKERSON - Vice President of Engineering
Mr. D. Dickerson is a registered Professional Electrical Engineer. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Mississippi in 1981 and 1983 respectively.
Prior to joining the DEI team he was affiliated with Texas Instruments as a Research & Development Engineer. Mr. D. Dickerson joined DEI in 1985, was named to the board of Directors in 1987 and appointed Vice President of Engineering in 1992.
As a principal of DEI Mr. D. Dickerson is in responsible charge of project design, coordination and preparation of construction documents.
